Associate Optometrist - LensCrafters - Hickory, NC

About the role

As an Associate Optometrist, you will work within the practice of a LensCrafters Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor. Your responsibilities will include providing high-quality optometric care and service to patients.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients within the scope of your professional discretion and agreement with the Subleasing Doctor.
• Utilize the latest advancements in digital eye examination technology such as Clarifye.
• Work in a fully furnished office equipped with OD equipment and support from tech and pre-testing staff.
• Flexible scheduling options including part-time commitments or adding work to an existing practice schedule.

Requirements

• A current license to practice optometry in North Carolina.
• Experience in independent practice preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using digital eye examination technology.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an AOA or COA accredited school.
• Passing scores on the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO).
• Current licensure to practice optometry in North Carolina.

Pay
