About the role

The position involves working within the practice of a LensCrafters Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor. As an Associate Optometrist, you will work under the professional autonomy to care for patients, operate within the full scope of practice based on your discretion, and enjoy flexible scheduling options.

Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive optometric care to patients - Perform eye examinations and prescribe appropriate lenses and treatments - Maintain and update patient records - Collaborate with the optical dispensary team to ensure accurate and efficient eyewear fitting - Adhere to professional standards and ethical guidelines

Requirements

- Current license to practice optometry in North Carolina - At least two years of recent clinical experience - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to work independently and manage a caseload

Qualifications

- Completion of an accredited optometry program - Board certification in optometry preferred
