Associate, Operational Forecasting

About the role

This position is responsible for executing forecasting and planning analyses to optimize resource allocation and financial planning for production teams. The role supports leadership decision-making and contributes to effective workforce management within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed operational forecasts for demand and resourcing
• Support leadership in generating budget estimates based on forecasts
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align forecast models with business objectives
• Coordinate with data teams to source and refine data for analysis
• Support planning discussions by understanding business needs
• Utilize relevant tools and data platforms for analysis
• Apply business insight and analytical skills to manage ambiguity
• Manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality work on time
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and stakeholders
• Own insights generation for a major business unit and act as primary contact for senior managers
• Analyze data to enable informed, data-driven business decisions
• Present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Maintain stakeholder relationships to identify improvements and monitor impact
• Support strategic projects as needed
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in operations forecasting
• At least 2 years working with large datasets and delivering structured analyses
• Proficiency in SQL or programming languages such as R or Python
• Strong verbal and written communication skills related to business reporting
• At least 1 year experience with Google Sheets or Excel, including advanced functions

Pay

Base salary range: $91,659 – $120,303 per year.
