About the Opportunity
The Associate Onboarding Manager is responsible for managing the initial phase of the customer lifecycle by onboarding new clients. The role focuses on helping customers quickly realize value from the software, maximizing engagement, and ensuring a positive experience. This position involves cross-functional collaboration and direct interaction with customers to drive early adoption and successful onboarding outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Become proficient in the organization's products and solutions
- Mentor and coach customers through the onboarding process
- Manage software setup for customers during onboarding
- Act as the primary contact throughout the onboarding phase
- Project manage multiple customer onboardings to accelerate time to value
- Provide updates on customer projects using project management tools
- Lead customer communications, including live and written interactions
- Deliver training and workshops on specific products or modules
- Drive early adoption and document metrics related to time to value
- Evaluate the effectiveness of onboarding processes
- Contribute to building internal processes and enablement tactics
- Resolve simple customer issues independently
- Document customer interactions and onboarding progress
- Utilize approved AI tools to improve efficiency and output quality
- Ensure accuracy, accountability, and data protection when using AI
- Continuously learn and share AI-related knowledge within the team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain high activity levels
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective decision-making and organizational skills
- Detail oriented and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback
- Skills in managing customer expectations and active listening
- Less than one year of customer onboarding experience
- Preferred: Additional languages, familiarity with Salesforce, Workfront, or Outreach, experience in software, SaaS, or the EHS industry
Pay Range and Compensation Package
The expected salary range is $61,350 to $78,100 USD or $64,500 to $78,700 CAD, with offers typically between the minimum and midpoint based on skills and experience.
