Associate Nursing Instructional Personnel for Clinical and Lab - Temporary Pool

About the role

The Department of Nursing at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) invites applications for part-time Associate Nursing Instructional Personnel. This position is a temporary, non-benefits-eligible role requiring enrollment in a PERA retirement account. Applicants are placed in the departmental pool and considered for instructional/part-time clinical, lab, and simulation departmental needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in instructing students in laboratory and clinical components of courses to both traditional and accelerated BSN students.
• Work and interact with diverse groups of individuals.

Requirements

• An active unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Colorado.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a Nursing Education Program with national nursing accreditation.
• At least two (2) years of full-time, or equivalent, professional nursing clinical experience.
• At least one (1) year of nursing experience in the field of instruction.

Qualifications

• Required: An active unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Colorado. A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a Nursing Education Program with national nursing accreditation. Official Transcripts are required within the first 30 days if selected for Hire. At least two (2) years of full-time, or equivalent, professional nursing clinical experience. At least one (1) year of nursing experience in the field of instruction.
• PREFERRED: Participation in a clinical scholar/preceptor program. A professional nursing certification.
