About the role

As a Mixed-Signal Design Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and validation of mixed-signal integrated circuits and semiconductor solutions. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will apply both analog and digital design principles to develop innovative products and technologies. You will participate in various stages of the product development lifecycle, including circuit design, simulation, characterization, and silicon validation.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and analyze mixed-signal circuit blocks and subsystems.
  • Perform circuit simulation, modeling, and performance analysis to ensure design objectives are achieved.
  • Participate in schematic design, circuit verification, characterization, and silicon validation activities.
  • Collaborate with analog, digital, layout, product, test, and applications engineering teams throughout the development process.
  • Support the integration of analog and digital circuit blocks into larger system-level solutions.
  • Develop and execute test and characterization plans to evaluate circuit performance.
  • Analyze technical issues and implement solutions to improve performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, test results, and development reports.

Requirements

  • Understanding of analog and digital circuit design fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor devices, CMOS technologies, and integrated circuit design concepts.
  • Familiarity with circuit simulation, analysis, and verification methodologies.
  • Exposure to industry-standard EDA tools used for integrated circuit development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional engineering environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in mixed-signal design, analog design, digital design, semiconductor development, or related engineering disciplines.
  • Exposure to mixed-signal circuit design through coursework, internships, research, or professional experience.
  • Familiarity with circuit simulation and design tools such as Cadence, SPICE, MATLAB, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of data converters, clocking circuits, power management circuits, sensor interfaces, or other mixed-signal architectures.
  • Experience with laboratory characterization, testing, and silicon validation activities.
  • Understanding of signal integrity, noise analysis, timing analysis, or power optimization concepts.

Benefits

  • Medical, vision, and dental coverage.
  • 401k retirement plan.
  • Paid vacation, holidays, and sick time.
  • Discretionary performance-based bonus based on personal and company factors.
