About the role
Amidst widely recognized legal services to US and international institutions, Arnold & Porter’s Financial Services Practice Group of more than 70 lawyers offers comprehensive regulatory, litigation, legislative, and transactional services to financial institution and fintech clients. The practice group handles complex regulatory and transactional issues, chartering and licensing, investigations, and administrative enforcement actions and represents clients in legislative matters related to the financial services industry.
Responsibilities
- Experience in and demonstrated continued interest in bank regulatory, anti-money laundering, consumer protection, fintech, chartering, or cryptocurrency matters
- Strong research, writing, and analytic skills
- The ability to work independently and creatively
- An ability to work successfully as part of a team
Requirements
- Experience representing clients before or working at the Federal Reserve, FDIC, OCC, FinCEN or state banking agencies is preferred
- Currently licensed, or currently eligible to become licensed, to practice law in the jurisdiction(s) where they apply

Pay
The salary range for this position in New York and Washington D.C. is $235,000 - $365,000, commensurate with experience.
