Associate Member Advisor

About the role

As an Associate Member Advisor (AMA), you'll play an important role in creating exceptional Member experiences while serving as a trusted resource for everyday financial needs. This position combines relationship building, problem solving, account servicing, transaction processing, and product education. Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service aligned with Hoosier Hills Credit Union's mission and Service Promises.
• Forge and maintain strong connections with new and existing members, delivering outstanding service.
• Execute transactions and manage account service requests efficiently and accurately.
• Perform transaction processing and account maintenance, addressing related inquiries promptly.
• Ensure precise and professional handling of transactions and interactions; adhere to security guidelines for transactions and account maintenance.
• Follow protocols for supervisor overrides, safeguard cash, and assist with account and Service Center procedures.
• Adhere to BSA/AML regulations.
• Assist with online banking, statements, card activation, wire transfers, and general account maintenance.
• Act as a knowledgeable resource, support problem resolution, and always act in the best interest of the members.
• Identify and suggest HHCU products that meet members' needs, enhancing their overall experience.
• Provide information on additional products and services that may help members achieve their financial goals.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members.
• Contribute to planning, share improvement ideas, and engage in self-evaluation.
• Engage in continuous learning and self-improvement to drive personal and team development.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of experience in customer-facing roles required. Experience in banking, credit unions, financial services, cash handling, retail banking, or other highly regulated service environments strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and customer service.
