Overview

Headway is a Series D company focused on building a new mental healthcare system accessible to everyone. We automate administrative tasks for therapists and aim to expand our provider network and improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Support Headway’s health plan relationships and external thought leadership strategy
  • Work cross-functionally with teams including Payer, Product, Growth, Marketing, Data & Analytics, and Operations
  • Drive creative, innovative, exploratory data analyses to prove patient outcomes and shape strategic direction
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to infuse clinical strategy across the organization
  • Communicate clinical information to non-clinical staff and distill complex processes
  • Explore patient outcomes in a large data set and extract key insights
  • Work with therapists to document care in a compliant manner
  • Travel to promote Headway’s services and engage with payers

Requirements

  • Psychiatrist (MD/DO) or Clinical Psychologist (PhD) with 3+ years of experience as a clinician
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced, high-growth business
  • 2+ years of experience working in payer or partnership roles, preferably in technology environments
  • Demonstrated passion for reimagining behavioral health delivery and measurement
  • Industry influence through presentations, publications, and media articles
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and synthesize data
  • Experience with clinical quality measurement and peer review systems
  • General familiarity with healthcare regulations and laws surrounding corporate practice of medicine
  • Experience with a healthcare tech company or startup
  • Based on or near the East Coast and willing to travel
