Associate Medical Director - Occupational Health Biddeford/Sanford, ME
MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Occupational Health in Biddeford/Sanford, Maine is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Physician to join our Occupational Health Team as an Occupational Health Physician and Associate Medical Director. This position includes 0.875 FTE clinical responsibilities and 0.125 FTE administrative leadership responsibilities.
About the Role
The physician will provide medical care and occupational health services to patients in York County while supporting operational, quality, and strategic initiatives in collaboration with Occupational Health leadership.
Occupational medicine training is required, with certification or fellowship training preferred. Candidates with an interest in leadership and program development are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical occupational health services (0.875 FTE).
- Serve as Associate Medical Director (0.125 FTE), partnering with Occupational Health leadership on clinical quality, provider engagement, regulatory compliance, and program development initiatives.
Requirements
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certification in Occupational Health or Fellowship training (preferred but not required).
- MRO/DOT Certification required; candidates without certification must be willing to obtain it within a specified timeframe after hire.

Pay
The annual base salary for this position is $289,691.00. Total compensation packages may include recruitment payments, relocation assistance, and quality incentives based on eligibility.
