Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive media strategies that integrate digital performance tactics with local traditional media to meet diverse client objectives.
- Act as the primary strategic lead and point of contact for key clients; independently manage relationships and build trust through expert consultation, proactive communication, and consistent delivery of results.
- Present complex strategies and performance data to executive-level stakeholders with clarity and confidence. Navigate challenging conversations and high-pressure situations with a professional and solutions-oriented demeanor.
- Leverage emerging technologies and AI-driven tools to enhance media planning, optimize campaign performance, and drive operational efficiencies.
- Provide guidance and leadership to junior media team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Minimum of eight years work experience in media planning and strategy, with a proven track record in both digital and local traditional media.
- Deep understanding of the full media funnel and the ability to build multi-channel and performance-centric strategies that move the needle.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-value client relationships independently, from initial onboarding through long-term strategic growth.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, characterized by professional poise and the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Experience or a strong interest in organizational transformation, specifically regarding how teams adapt to new technologies and workflows.
- Adept with AI to elevate media strategies, audience segmentation, or campaign performance optimization is highly preferred.
- Ability to work from our office location two to three days per week to facilitate collaboration and team culture.
- Strong working knowledge of various media tools (e.g., Strata, Comscore, Nielsen, MRI-Simmons, and Scarborough).
- Knowledge of (or willingness to learn about) data protection (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR) and maintaining confidentiality.
- Ability to effectively manage timelines and deadlines, confidently negotiate, and bring new ideas to the table.
