Associate Mechanical Technician
Position Summary

Responsibilities
- Set up, execute, and document impact tests and test procedures for sponsored impact research projects.
- Maintain test facility readiness, lab organization, and lab housekeeping.
- Aid in target fixture design and fabrication.
Requirements
- High-School Diploma.
- Experience with basic hand tools.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
- Candidates must be a U.S. citizen due to the requirements of their research contracts with the U.S. federal government.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates Degree.
- Knowledge of Solidworks or CAD software.
- Familiarity with the operation of milling machines and lathes.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to keep the lab clean and tidy.
- Ability to follow test procedures and document results.
- Ability to assist with fixture design and fabrication.
