Job Responsibilities

Overview

We are seeking an Engineer Technician to join our growing UAV production team. This role will be to set up manufacturing for UAVs, including making work instructions, setting up production lines, and creating test procedures. Additional responsibility will be to provide support for the development and maintenance of the current UAV fleet used for testing.

Qualifications

• Required Qualifications

  • A high school diploma
  • General hand tool knowledge
  • Familiarity with 3D printing, electronics assembly, and general manufacturing processes
  • Experience with aerospace, defense, or UAV manufacturing

• Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ITAR controlled products or defense manufacturing
  • Experience with design, build, and fly of small UAVs
  • Certifications related to soldering or cable harness fabrication (MIL, IPC)
  • Familiarity with setting up and tuning flight controller parameters (ArduPilot, PX4, Betaflight)
  • FAA Part 107 certified
  • Active U.S. security clearance (Secret or higher); candidates without a clearance will be considered

Benefits

The salary range for this position is $21.44/hour-$28.00. This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting. Several factors can influence the pay scale, including but not limited to: Federal contract labor categories and contract wage rates, collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, business considerations, scope, and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate’s qualifications such as prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications.
