In this role, you will be engaged with exciting projects across a variety of facilities, systems and locations. Responsibilities

  • Bring mechanical systems to life in a variety of industrial facilities.
  • Support the various demands of the buildings HVAC and plumbing systems.
  • Ensure proper selection and design for optimal environmental conditioning for the operation of the processing facilities systems.
  • Provide solutions to complex problems facing manufacturing and related customers.
  • Engaged in:
    • Design, Preconstruction Planning, and Construction support
    • Working with equipment partners to leverage the best technical solutions to the problems at hand
    • Project Delivery Methods - Design-Bid-Build and Owner’s Engineer, depending on need.
    • Facility Types – Industrial facilities such as food and beverage manufacturing, agricultural processing, semiconductor manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, automotive manufacturing and other leading edge industries.
    • Systems – HVAC, Plumbing, and Chillers

Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.
  • Minimum of 1 year related work experience.
  • Basic knowledge of the following areas:
    • General understanding of building and utility systems
    • Ability to perform basic HVAC Heat load calculations, energy modeling and HVAC equipment sizing
    • Awareness of the technical submittal review process
    • Awareness of bid review process
    • Microsoft Office Suite
    • Bluebeam Revu or other markup tool, Revit or CAD experience a plus
    • International Codes Council (ICC) Suite of Codes
    • ASHRAE, ASME, NFPA Handbooks / Standards
