Associate, Mechanical Engineer

About the Role

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a New Grad for the Mechanical Engineering team to support our dynamic organization in San Diego, CA. This role offers a 9/80 work schedule, allowing employees to work 9 out of every 14 days and have every other Friday off.

Responsibilities

• Implement and analyze manufacturing plans and projects
• Design, develop, and transfer manufacturing and engineering tools, strategies, and systems
li>Develop manufacturing strategies for specific products and processes
• Interface with engineering in coordinating the release of new products
• Estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards, and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines
• Maintain records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Or have completed a bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned fields within the last 12 months, regardless of age

Pay

The salary range for this role in New York state is $68,000 - $126,000. Final offer amount may vary based on factors including experience and geographic location.
