The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range: $77,400.00 - $116,000.00

Purpose Statement

The Associate Material Team Manager role represents tactical procurement in the CFT under the guidance of an MTM or MTM Sr and ensures the timely availability of materials and clear communication regarding supply status. This position focuses on executing "Clean to Build" processes, serving as a key contact for when explaining shortage details, and coordinating resources for timely completion of tasks.

Key Job Accountabilities

  • Diligently monitor and analyze material availability against production schedules to ensure a "Clean to Build" status.
  • Assure escalation of the most critical material issues for assistance using the Plexpedite process.
  • Interface with the buying team to communicate customer support requirements and ensure alignment on priorities related to material availability, defer or cancel activities.
  • Provide detailed information on shortages & support customer conversations as needed.
  • Support the Material Team Manager in daily operational tasks and strategic initiatives.

Other duties

  • Support PPV avoidance / approval processes,
  • Support site quoting / repricing activities,
  • Manage ECO activity.

Education/Experience Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 4 or more years of related experience is preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.

Other Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Self-starter with the ability to operate without constant direction.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment across various functional business groups.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
  • Strong Google Workspace or MS Office skills with advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • General office equipment and materials.

Physical Requirements

  • Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level.
  • May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment.
  • Mild physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
