About the role
Fortune Live Media is seeking an Associate Marketing Manager to support audience acquisition and engagement for its portfolio of executive events and conferences.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of integrated marketing plans to attract targeted executive audiences for high-profile events and conferences, both in-person and virtual.
- Aid in audience segmentation, data acquisition, campaign setup, and performance tracking to improve engagement and ROI.
- Partner with internal stakeholders by providing campaign updates, basic performance reports, and initial recommendations to help inform business and marketing decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to help manage priorities, timelines, and deliverables across channels.
- Maintain customer data systems and campaign lists in platforms including Salesforce and Cvent, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and efficient marketing workflows.
- Use Excel tools such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables, along with CRM reporting, to analyze campaign and audience data.
- Build, QA, and deploy email marketing campaigns, including website creation, audience targeting, list pulls, and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with vendors and technology partners to support database enhancements, marketing automation, and process improvements.
Qualifications
- 3-4 years of experience in B2B marketing, direct marketing, or database-driven campaigns, preferably in a media, events, or conferences environment.
- Hands-on experience supporting multi-channel marketing initiatives across email, digital, and social channels.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Cvent, or other CRM platforms, with experience working with marketing lists, segmentation, campaign tracking, and audience data management.
- Experience with email marketing or automation systems and a strong understanding of campaign setup and deliverability best practices.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and commitment to high-quality execution.
- Clear communication and superior writing skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with SQL, WordPress, HTML, or CSS is a plus, but not required.
Pay
Salary Range: $75,000-$80,000
Schedule
This role will be based in NYC; 5 days/week in the office is expected.
