Responsibilities
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for data management and database structure, ensuring the integrity of CARFAX consumer data across all platforms.
- Manage the integration of consumer data across marketing and CDP platforms, acting as the primary technical point of contact for data flow.
- Create and maintain comprehensive reporting on marketing efforts and KPIs, utilizing data to provide clear narratives on consumer behavior.
- Establish and manage reporting alerts and monitoring processes to proactively identify data anomalies or performance shifts.
- Produce regular data-focused presentations for peers and key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven ability to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for marketing databases and consumer data platforms (CDP).
- Proficiency in data storytelling, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and build reports that provide clear business insights.
- Previous experience with data management and visualization tools such as QuickSight, PowerBI, Tableau and Looker Studio.
- Minimum 3 years of experience utilizing message automation tools (Iterable, SendGrid, Salesforce, etc.).
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with marketing databases and consumer data platforms.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience with SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to align data strategy with business goals.
- Familiarity with consumer data protection laws.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask successfully.
- Intellectually curious with an aptitude for learning and trying new things.
- Preferably 1 year of experience in web analytics (Adobe Analytics / Google Analytics).
- Proficiency utilizing JavaScript, R, and/or Python.
- Previous SDK Integration and testing experience.
- Experience managing multi-year consumer relationship building (i.e., subscription or membership programs).
- Previous experience migrating to new consumer messaging tools.
- Previous work in the automotive space.
- Two or more years of experience working with Segment (CDP).
- Two or more years of experience working with Iterable, Klaviyo, and/or SendGrid.
- Data Integrity & Architecture: Serve as the technical SME for LMT data, managing the flow and integrity of user information between internal CARFAX databases, Iterable, Segment (CDP), etc.
- Actionable Data Storytelling: Translate complex datasets and KPIs into clear narratives and visualizations to help the Lifecycle Marketing Managers with strategy and product optimizations.
- Governance & Performance Monitoring: Establish robust data quality alerts and monitoring processes to identify anomalies, ensuring the performance of all cross-platform messaging, and company compliance with data protection laws.

Pay
The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $53,600 - $101,500. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on a variety of factors, including geographic location, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
