This role is with a global biotechnology product-development client that supplies laboratory equipment, chemicals, supplies, and services to healthcare, scientific research, safety, and education sectors. About the role

Responsible for fulfilling manufacturing lab functions, including image reviews, robotic equipment operation, loading and unloading equipment, and packaging products in a controlled manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Executes the daily production schedule for changeovers, reviews, or packaging using manual and automated processes.
  • Follows standard operating procedures and good document practices.
  • Works as an individual and as a team member to ensure all assigned tasks are completed on a daily basis.
  • Understands and carries out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Performs basic math calculations.
  • Communicates status updates to department Leads and Supervisors.
  • May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.

Requirements

  • At least 1–2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • College degree is a plus.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Occasionally required to sit.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Frequently exposed to various temperature conditions; necessary PPE is provided.
  • Required to work near or around moving mechanical parts.
  • PPE assessments, SOPs, and JSAs guide safety protection for exposure to hazardous chemicals.
  • Noise levels in the work environment do not exceed OSHA permissible limits; ear protection is available upon request.

Pay

  • $20 to $24 per hour
  • Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM – $23 per hour
  • Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM – $24 per hour

Schedule

  • 12-month temporary assignment, onsite
  • 2nd shift options:
    • Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
    • Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM
