About the role
KPS Life is hiring a remote-based Associate Manager, Vendor & Relationship Management dedicated to one of our sponsor clients. We're seeking a professional with 3+ years of experience in vendor management, business operations, or business analysis within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry. The ideal candidate has strong project coordination skills, experience supporting vendor and staff augmentation programs, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Support the management of Functional Service Provider (FSP) and Staff Augmentation engagements.
- Maintain accurate tracking of vendor data, including headcount, FTEs, contract status, and related metrics.
- Assist with onboarding and implementation of new vendor engagements.
- Support governance activities and ongoing vendor oversight initiatives.
- Partner with the Senior Manager, Vendor & Relationship Management to support the overall Vendor Engagement Program.
- Coordinate Staff Augmentation onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Communicate onboarding timelines and logistics with internal stakeholders.
- Request and assign Workday Position IDs and assist with resource-related inquiries.
- Schedule and coordinate vendor governance meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and track action items.
- Partner with Procurement, Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders to support vendor operations.
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external vendors to ensure efficient execution of vendor engagement processes.
- Support continuous improvement of vendor management processes and documentation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in vendor management, business analysis, project coordination, or a related role within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or health sciences industry.
- Experience supporting vendor relationships, outsourcing programs, or Staff Augmentation/FSP models preferred.
- Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Skills
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management and business process documentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SharePoint and AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot or Claude.
- Knowledge of vendor relationship management best practices and compliance standards.
