The Associate Manager, Growth Modeling and Advanced Analytics is responsible for validating and approving advanced analytics models across media, influencer, retailer and SKU-level. This role will optimize budget allocations and drive actionable insights to support Unilever’s business priorities, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure robust measurement standards and continuous improvement in analytics methodologies.
This position requires working from the client's Hoboken office as part of a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the validation and approval of regular INC, Mega INC, and Pilot models, including those focused on media, influencer, SKU-level, and retailer analytics.
- Identify and resolve input data issues and attribution shifts by channel, ensuring data integrity and reliability across analytics processes.
- Execute budget-based optimization and forecasting on a monthly basis and in response to ad-hoc business needs, supporting strategic resource allocation.
- Conduct analyses to determine saturation points, optimal investment by platform, and the impact of incremental or budget cuts, providing recommendations for maximizing ROI.
- Assess new measurement solutions and vendor offerings, vetting methodologies to ensure alignment with Unilever’s standards and business objectives.
- Analyze and approve feature lists, prioritizing enhancements based on evolving business needs.
- Participate in key Unilever meetings (brand connect with Unite, category review, CMI share-outs, LOM sessions) and maintain regular communication with the Data Poem team to stay informed about business priorities.
Requirements
- 3–5 years in media analytics, market research, or related fields, ideally within an agency, consultancy, or embedded client-side role.
- Strong skills in statistical analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau), Excel, and basic coding.
- Experience with media measurement, campaign analytics, and data storytelling, with a proven ability to translate complex data into actionable client recommendations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, storytelling, and communication skills, adaptable to both agency and client environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and operate effectively within a client-embedded team structure while adhering to agency processes.
- Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, client-facing environment, balancing diverse stakeholder needs with WPP's internal policies and strategic objectives.
- Prior usage of major media platforms such as Google, Meta, TikTok, and others, with experience leveraging data from these channels for campaign reporting and optimization for large advertisers.
- CPG experience highly preferred.
- Awareness of digital marketing measurement tools (e.g., MMM, Attribution, Brand Health, Lift/Incrementality Testing, Data Clean Rooms).

Pay
US Pay Range: $60,000 - $140,000 USD
Schedule
Hybrid work model with teams in the office around four days a week.
