About the role

The ideal candidate will join a dynamic legal team in Nashville, working on complex deals and projects that drive strategic, growth, and innovation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist corporate clients by structuring complex deals, negotiating tax credits, and drafting construction and term loans for energy, infrastructure, and commercial real estate projects.
  • Independently manage deal flow, including due diligence, negotiation, drafting, and closing.
  • Work alongside experienced attorneys and business leaders to solve legal problems and support business strategies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of deep finance-side and broad transactional experience (including M&A, tax, and contracting experience).
  • Experience in a top-tier corporate law firm or a comparable company with an in-house legal team.
  • Ability to work efficiently and successfully in a high-paced corporate environment, managing multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Outstanding professional references from former supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Tennessee (or eligible to register for in-house exemption).
  • Strong analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.

Skills

  • Strong transactional and project finance experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $175,000 to $220,000. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, and credentials.
