About the role

ASK Legal Defense LLP is hiring an Associate Counsel (Legal) for a full-time role at its client’s office in Noida. The selected candidate will combine strong drafting skills with practical legal judgment while handling compliance and litigation responsibilities in a structured manner.

Responsibilities

• Draft and vet legal documentation.
• Advise business teams on legal matters.
• Ensure statutory compliance.
• Manage disputes and litigation matters.
• Maintain compliance and litigation records in a structured and reportable manner.

Requirements

• Strong legal research and analytical skills, including experience with legal databases and interpretation of statutes, case law, and regulations.
• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing pleadings, contracts, notices, and legal opinions.
• Competence in advocacy and negotiation, with the ability to appear before courts or tribunals under guidance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment.
• An LL.B. or equivalent law degree from a recognised institution.
• Enrollment with the Bar Council and eligibility to practice law.
• Familiarity with litigation procedures, civil and/or criminal law, and relevant legal frameworks.
• High ethical standards, sound professional judgment, and a willingness to learn and take on greater responsibilities.
