About the role

At Joseph’s Classic Market, our Kitchen Prep Platers play a crucial role in ensuring every dish is presented with precision and care, reflecting the high standards that set us apart.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all items are plated, packaged, and presented according to Joseph's quality and appearance standards
• Maintain freshness by rotating products and monitoring quality
• Pack, label, and stock prepared foods for retail cases
• Follow sanitation and food safety protocols at all times
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives, scales, and wrapping machines
• Absorb and assist with general kitchen prep and cleaning tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Food preparation or kitchen experience preferred
• Basic math and reading skills
• Strong attention to detail and visual presentation
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• A passion for serving people
