Associate Interconnection Engineer
About the role
We're seeking an Associate Interconnection Engineer to join our growing team and support the interconnection process for solar and energy storage projects. This is an entry-level opportunity for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in renewable energy, utility interconnections, and power systems.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the preparation, submission, and tracking of interconnection applications
- Negotiate with utilities on interconnection requirements, costs, and timelines
- Manage and maintain utility customer portal systems
- Aid in reviewing and drafting one-line diagrams and site plans
- Conduct research on utility infrastructure, tariffs, and interconnection policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, or a related field
- Internship experience in interconnection, utility coordination, or renewable energy, preferred
