What You'll Be Doing
- Research and draft policy language and supporting documentation for management review.
- Review bureau publications from organizations such as NCCI, ISO, and independent state bureaus to evaluate impacts on insurance products.
- Analyze statutes, regulations, and industry bulletins to identify coverage, compliance, and competitive considerations.
- Monitor state regulatory developments and support updates needed to maintain compliance and operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal teams on product updates, regulatory initiatives, process improvements, and system enhancements.
- Provide research, analysis, and recommendations related to policy forms, bureau filings, and insurance compliance matters.
- Develop and maintain procedures and reference materials that improve consistency and efficiency.
- Support the Insurance Services team while continuing to expand your knowledge and expertise as an Associate Insurance Services Analyst.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Risk & Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Commercial lines casualty product development or casualty underwriting experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate proofreading abilities.
- Ability to organize work, manage priorities, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office applications, and business computer systems.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Salary
Salary Range: $55,000.00–$60,000.00 annually. Compensation is commensurate with education and experience and will be determined in accordance with internal equity and organizational compensation practices.
