Practice Focus The Team Handles Matters Involving Commercial General Liability (CGL)Commercial PropertyBusiness InterruptionPollution ClaimsProfessional Liability / Errors & OmissionsLawyers, Agents & Accountants E&ODirectors & Officers (D&O) CoverageMarket Conduct and Bad-Faith Litigation Responsibilities Analyze insurance policies and underlying claimsDraft coverage opinions and provide coverage recommendations to insurer clientsConduct sophisticated legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and NexisDraft interrogatories, document demands, and other discovery materialsReview documents and develop files in preparation for litigationAssist with litigation strategy and case developmentAttend depositions, hearings, mediations, and other proceedingsWork alongside experienced insurance coverage attorneys on complex matters throughout the United States Required Qualifications Active Florida Bar admission1+ years of litigation experienceStrong academic credentials, including Law Review and/or academic honorsExceptional legal research and writing skillsStrong analytical ability and attention to detailInterest in developing substantive insurance coverage expertise Insurance coverage, bad-faith, commercial litigation, professional liability, or other relevant insurance-related experience would be particularly valuable.
