About the role

CREC's Discovery Academy is seeking a Full-Time Associate Instructor to work with individual and group student instruction, behavioral management, and various other classroom tasks as assigned. Associate Instructors may also provide targeted interventions in literacy or math and substitute when classroom teachers are absent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group student instruction
• Manage classroom behavior
• Perform various classroom tasks as assigned
• Provide targeted interventions in literacy or math
• Substitute for classroom teachers when absent
• Collect and analyze data related to student performance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field
• 2-5 years of experience working with a diverse population of primary-aged students within a public school
• Early childhood certification (encouraged)

Skills

• Effective communication with students, parents, and teachers
• Ability to work collaboratively with others
