Associate – Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform Property Inspections.
• Performs quality control checks and data entry on incoming inspections reports to ensure compliance with investor and company requirements.
• Manages inspection process from initiation to completion.
• Works closely with Underwriting staff supporting required best practices requirements.
• Solves scheduling and contact issues with the vendors as they arise.
• Affixes inspection reports to Investors, Trustees, Borrowers, Master Servicers and other parties.
• Maintains oversight of vendor issues.
• Sends deferred maintenance letters and responds to the borrowers as needed.
• Assists with special projects and additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, or other related fields preferred.
• Preferred certified Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Inspector MBA (Mortgage Bankers Association) Inspection Certificate.
• Able to travel minimum of 80%.
