Associate Inside Sales Representative

About the role

As an Assembler, you will build WSWH walls to achieve safety, quality, efficiency, continuous improvement, and production goals. You will be an important member of a team of makers who take pride in their work and support each other.

Responsibilities

• Assemble WSWH Walls according to set production standards and ensure product meets specification using power tools and equipment (75%).
• Perform quality inspections to drawings and specifications per written procedures.
• Operate a forklift to move raw material and finished goods as needed.
• Read through work orders to determine specifications, such as materials to be used as well as product dimensions and tolerances (15%).
• Maintain building station area clean and organized, ensuring all tools and supplies are returned to home locations after use (10%).

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Simpson Strong-Tie Powered Industrial Truck Certification required (will certify at hire).
• 1 year of production, warehouse, and/or logistics experience required.
• Ability to operate forklift, reach truck, order picker, and electric pallet jack.
• Demonstrate safe work practices and promote a safe work environment.
• Follow both written and oral instructions, including safety guidelines, work instructions, and company policies.
• Able to consistently demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.
• Effective communication skills to relay information across all departments and levels within the organization.
• Understanding of company quality standards and quality control processes.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Work collaboratively with team members to accomplish group goals.
• Multi-task and take initiative in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
• Apply customer service principles and processes on the job.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Schedule

This is a full-time, non-exempt Swing shift position (3:45pm – 12:15am) located in Stockton, CA.

Pay

$18.00 / hour

Essential Functions

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to stand, walk, see, talk, and hear; occasionally required to sit.
• Operate large equipment while standing for approximately 8-12 hours, regularly twisting and bending in a repetitive motion.
• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds; heavier weights with proper equipment.

Work Environment

• Exposure to heat and/or cold, loud noise levels, vibration, and moving mechanical parts.
