About the role

The Associate Hospital Sales Health & Science Representative (AHSHR) is responsible for increasing product awareness, educating customers, and achieving business objectives through virtual customer interactions. This role involves building relationships, promoting products, and utilizing various virtual tools and resources.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers virtually to grow the business and drive product demand by providing solutions and educating customers.
  • Build rapport with customers in a virtual environment, developing a structured approach to calls, adapting based on opportunities and insights, and using approved promotional materials.
  • Understand and utilize approved Pfizer resources to support customers and accounts, coordinating insights with in-field representatives as needed.
  • Work independently in virtual collaboration with cross-functional internal teams, integrating guidance from management and other support roles into pre-call planning.
  • Use virtual tools and resources effectively, managing call environments based on personal and customer schedules, and collaborating with other CF colleagues.
  • Support customers on contract value opportunities and virtual in-services, discussing negotiated contract terms and options, and answering on-label questions.
  • Apply triaging protocols to connect with appropriate subject matter experts using digital apps, and use warm transfers for real-time hand-offs to cross-functional experts.
  • Stay current with required training, including compliance, and enhance skills through self-study and development programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 0-3 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree with 4 years of relevant experience, or six years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Goal-oriented individual with a strong desire to be in a promotional role, possessing core skills such as customer service orientation, initiative, planning, and follow-up, work management, and judgment/problem-solving.
  • Ability to speak clearly and effectively on the phone or other virtual platforms for a full working day.
  • Demonstrated digital acumen, strong organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to analyze and draw relevant conclusions using available data and information.
  • Change agility, accountability, taking and seeking feedback, the ability to be connected to others, remote collaboration with cross-functional internal teams, market place and business acumen, stakeholder management, and understanding business priorities.
  • Exceptional time management skills, intrinsically productive, and scheduled, even in the absence of direct management oversight.
