Responsibilities
- Assist with engineering testing and analysis of aircraft and equipment for Electromagnetic Interferences and Electromagnetic Compatabilties (EMI/EMC).
- Assist in determining aircraft EMI/EMC electronic systems compatibility per MIL-STD-461G and RTCA DO-160.
- Support HIRF High-Intensity Radiated Field analysis, Lightning analysis to determine feasibility of aircraft design.
- Utilize modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.
Qualifications
- To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree Electrical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Computer Engineering or related field or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.
- Preferred Additional Skills:
- Knowledge and/or experience with RF design, antenna theory
- Knowledge of network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators
- Excellent communication, technical writing and presentation skills
- Knowledge of and/or understanding circuit analysis and operational concepts
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
Pay
The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 annually.
Schedule
Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off.
