Associate - Global Transaction Analytics

About the role

A&M is a global consulting firm with over 10,000 professionals in 40 countries. We provide financial and accounting due diligence, capital markets and advisory services to private equity, hedge funds, sovereign wealth, family offices, and corporations worldwide. TAG specializes in M&A services, while GTA focuses on data analytics to support clients' M&A strategies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with numerous client engagements
• Extract insights from data sets and trends using various tools and techniques
• Facilitate day-to-day client interactions and relationships
• Collaborate and work cohesively with stakeholders
• Counsel and mentor junior members of the team
• Contribute to the team’s technical acumen

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in data analytics or transaction services
• Buy-side/vendor due diligence experience across industries preferred
• Understanding of M&A/PE investment lifecycle preferred
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field
• Understanding of data extraction, manipulation, analytics, and visualization approaches
• Strong technical background with hands-on data analytics experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, relational databases/SQL querying, Alteryx, business intelligence/visualization (Tableau preferred), big data, and machine learning concepts
• Ability to leverage business intelligence software
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
• Exceptional project management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment

Benefits

The base salary is $100,000 annually, with a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance.
