About the role
A&M is a global consulting firm with over 10,000 professionals in 40 countries. We provide financial and accounting due diligence, capital markets, and other M&A services to private equity, hedge funds, sovereign wealth, family offices, and corporations worldwide. TAG specializes in these services and is looking for an Associate to join their GTA practice in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, New York, Atlanta, Houston, Nashville, and Boston.
Responsibilities
- Assist with numerous client engagements
- Extract insights from data sets and trends using different tools and techniques
- Facilitate day-to-day client interaction and relationships
- Work cohesively and collaboratively across stakeholders
- Counsel and mentor junior members of the team and develop their technical acumen
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in data analytics or transaction services
- Buy-side/vendor due diligence experience across industries preferred
- Understanding of M&A/PE investment lifecycle preferred
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field
- Understanding of data extraction, manipulation, analytics, and visualization approaches
- Strong technical background with hands-on data analytics experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, relational databases/SQL querying, Alteryx, business intelligence/visualization (Tableau preferred), big data, and machine learning concepts
- Ability to leverage business intelligence software
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Exceptional project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to work in both a collaborative and individual contributor capacity
Benefits
The base salary is $100,000 annually, dependent on several variables including education, experience, skills, and geography. A&M offers a discretionary bonus program and a 401(k) retirement savings plan. Employees are also eligible for paid time off, healthcare plans, and other benefits.
