Associate Generalist - People & Culture (HR)

Here, you will make a difference every day in a fast-paced manufacturing facility within Supply Chain, supporting Human Resource activities such as employee relations, organizational development, recruiting, retention, performance management, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• 30% - HR Business Partnering: Provides support to client base, including performance management, recruiting, and employee relations. Assists with establishing policies and programs to foster job satisfaction and high morale. Executes proactive communication programs to improve employee engagement (client group may be out of state).
• 5% - Talent Strategies: Assists with implementing strategies to improve recruiting, selection, orientation, mentoring, development, and retention of talent.
• 10% - Policy Administration: Interprets, applies, and develops Employee Policies and Procedures. Resolves personnel issues and ensures consistent administration of company policies. Supports employees and managers with benefits, policies, and systems.
• 20% - Site Coordination: Facilitates and coordinates activities with the Leadership Team, including Company Outings, Christmas Dinner, Site Celebrations, Town Halls, and Monthly Leadership meetings.
• 15% - HRIS Administration: Administers HR systems and transactions related to the employee life cycle, compensation, benefits, leave administration, and policy interpretation.
• 20% - HR Administration: Manages payroll support, invoicing, uniform ordering, office supplies, onboarding, employee records, reporting, engagement programs, and general administrative duties.

Requirements

• Associate's degree.
• 2+ years of HR Generalist experience, preferably within a manufacturing or supply chain environment, or previous supervisory experience handling employee relations issues.

Qualifications (Nice to Haves)

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organization, multi-tasking, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Capability and desire to work as an organizational change agent.
• Willingness to travel 20-25% of the time (monthly travel required).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Skills

• Ability to address employee relations issues and determine the best course of action.
• Manage multiple administrative deadlines.
• Advise and facilitate development of high-performance plant culture.
• Communicate benefit changes and encourage positive employee experience (e.g., engagement, wellness programs, outings).
• Effectively communicate with all levels of employees, from hourly to senior management.
• Juggle numerous projects while remaining available to employees.

Pay

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $56,500–$77,700. Individual base pay depends on work location, experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
