Associate General Counsel – Healthcare Law

Responsibilities

• Provides expert guidance on compliance, risk management, and solutions in healthcare laws and regulations.
• Manages all areas of legal compliance; litigation; contract negotiation and preparation, review, and development.
• Advocates for organizational interests as laws and policies evolve.
• Manages complex and confidential legal issues independently.
• Works with diverse management teams to provide guidance in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Law degree from an accredited law school required with significant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of legal experience.
• Licensed to practice law in the applicable state with membership in the State Bar of Oregon or eligibility for admission based on reciprocity.
• Ability to work independently and with diverse groups of management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
