About the role

The role of Associate General Counsel, Compliance is responsible for providing legal support and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and counsel to senior management on various compliance matters.
  • Review and draft contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Participate in internal investigations and provide legal guidance as needed.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in law or related field.
  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in at least one state.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a legal capacity, preferably in a corporate or compliance environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience in regulatory compliance and legal risk management.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
