Essential Job Functions
We are seeking an experienced attorney to join our legal team. Key responsibilities include:
- Legal advice and counsel to sales and marketing teams on compliance with healthcare laws and regulations.
- Management of the company's global healthcare compliance and data privacy program.
- Education and advice on healthcare compliance and global privacy matters.
- Support for privileged compliance audits and investigations.
- Coordination with outside counsel on compliance, regulatory, and data privacy matters.
- Back-up legal support for general corporate legal issues.
Quality System Responsibilities
- Document product and therapy-related field reports within prescribed timelines.
- Provide follow-up reporting as needed.
- Complete training requirements and competency confirmations within required timelines.
Qualifications
- JD degree from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- At least 8 years of legal experience, preferably in the medical technology industry and corporate legal departments.
- Experience managing domestic and international outside counsel.
- Excellent organizational, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with a persistent eye toward problem-solving.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, manage competing priorities under demanding deadlines, and work cross-functionally.
- Proven ability to work with upper management to achieve regulatory and compliance objectives with support from internal business partners.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and excel in new or emerging areas.
- Admission to a State Bar in good standing.
- Judgment, discretion, strong communication skills, creativity, courage, and the ability to embrace working in a challenging and dynamic atmosphere.
- Ambition to drive solutions to problems quickly and effectively.
- Proactive, driven, collaborative, dedicated, and possess the ability to develop first-class relationships, both internally and externally.

- Able to articulate a vision and strategy for the legal function and ensure high-quality execution.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position will be offered at a level consistent with the experience and qualifications of the candidate. This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position at the time of posting. The salary range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from the posting based on various factors such as geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. Salary: $235,000—$265,000 USD.
