Position Overview

The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center are seeking faculty in translational biomedical imaging research. This position is available at the Associate Professor or Full Professor level. Senior faculty appointments require a minimum of 50% salary support from external funding sources.

Duties and Responsibilities

Successful candidates are expected to develop and lead an independent research program, secure grant funding, mentor trainees, and collaborate with investigators across the College of Medicine and the university.

Requirements

  • Established history of research accomplishment and grant funding.
  • Active grants.
  • A Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related discipline.
  • Scientific collaboration and research interests in translational research in MRI and/or molecular imaging applications in neuroscience.
