Job Duties
- Prepare client tax returns and tax estimates
- Aid Lead Advisor in planning, analysis, investment decisions affecting client relationships
- Prepare, review, and update financial plans, gather necessary client information, and ensure accuracy
- Coordinate the transfer of client assets during new client onboarding, collaborating with the operations team
- Develop and implement asset allocation strategies, rebalance portfolios as needed
- Contribute to client meetings through presentations, discussion facilitation, and information preparation
- Create custom worksheets and analyses to address client inquiries or research investment opportunities
- Utilize the firm's CRM and reporting platform (Advyzon) to generate reports, manage workflows, and track client interactions
- Occasionally perform administrative tasks such as paperwork preparation, trade execution, fund transfers, etc.
- Train entry-level positions as needed
- Grow existing client relationships by adding more assets under management, identifying service opportunities, and seeking referrals
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Licensed CPA required
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in individual tax preparation
- Series 65 licensed or willing to obtain within 18 months of hire
- Proficiency with Lacerte or similar tax preparation software, Excel, and Quickbooks applications preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Works well within a small team setting
