Responsibilities

  • Designated as a First Responder in emergencies.
  • Manages center budget, income targets, and expense control in collaboration with the Executive Director.
  • Hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates Program Directors and center staff.
  • Sets and communicates a clear vision aligned with YMCA mission and goals.
  • Evaluates existing programs and leads development of new initiatives aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Provides leadership for youth, teen, outreach, and member engagement/retention initiatives.
  • Guides program development, policies, and committees to align with center and association goals.
  • Supports strategic planning, marketing, public relations, and promotional efforts.
  • Leads annual campaign efforts and builds community partnerships and events.
  • Oversees scheduling, equipment, and financial assistance processes.
  • Ensures staff development, reporting, administration, and integration of YMCA core values.
  • Develops effective member engagement strategies that deepen staff, volunteer, and member involvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
  • Ability to develop and maintain high-quality programs.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and supervisory skills.
  • Knowledge of fiscal management, program planning, member services, sales, personnel management, training, public relations, and fundraising.
  • Completion of all position-specific YMCA training within established deadlines.

$62,000 - $72,000
