About the role

HarbourVest is a global firm dedicated to delivering impactful solutions to clients and investing partners. This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, offering 18 remote workdays per quarter.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the enterprise/operational risk frameworks, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Facilitate the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement and monitor risk mitigation strategies and action plans
  • Support the ERM Incident Management Program through risk event triage
  • Utilize AI to enhance risk analytics
  • Provide training and support on risk management approaches

Requirements

  • Demonstrated background in ERM or a related area
  • Understanding of financial services operational risks, controls, and processes
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and deliver a high-quality work product while meeting key deadlines
  • Ability to build and manage relationships with internal and external partners across all levels at the Firm
  • Strong ethical standards and professional integrity

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in enterprise risk management or a similar role
  • Education: Preferred Bachelor of Arts (B.A) / Bachelor of Science (B.S) or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or Management Information Systems
  • Experience: 5-8 Years experience in enterprise risk management or a similar role preferred (Senior Associate level)
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint required; ServiceNow or similar GRC tool experience preferred

Pay

Base Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00
