About the Role

Perform implementation duties relating to product and process support as part of a multidisciplinary engineering staff.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all ESD requirements.
  • Participate in Risk Management/FMEA and process validation.
  • Communicate, both written and verbal, with customers and associates.
  • Interpret specifications, drawings, and engineering instructions.
  • Develop test and manufacturing work instructions.
  • Support production line layouts in the assembly and test areas.
  • Draft product manufacturing work instructions.
  • Train for and implement Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ).
  • Gain exposure to Design for Manufacturability (DFM) or Design for Assembly (DFA).
  • Train and perform cross-functional internal audits for Quality Management Systems.
  • Comply with all in-house training as identified in job-specific family and/or training plan.
  • Support all corporate and site 6S objectives.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to utilize electronic manufacturing systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot.
  • Ability to interpret specifications and schematics.
  • Basic mechanical drawing skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Corrected vision with the ability to work with fine tools under a microscope.
  • Ability to work in a production environment wearing a smock, hairnet, and face mask as required.
  • Ability to read and write English at an intermediate level.
  • Ability to work in a team and be a good team member.
  • Sense of urgency, successful in meeting company quality and production objectives.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Engineering or additional coursework/on-the-job training in electronics or electrical engineering.
  • BS Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) preferred.
  • Experience using Windows operating systems including Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience working for an ISO9000 or AS9100 accredited organization is a plus.
