Associate Engineer - 2027 Leadership Development Program
About the role
The Engineering Leadership Development Program accelerates professional development by placing participants in multiple engineering-related roles during a two-year rotational program working with different Avient manufacturing sites. Individuals gain hands-on experience through two or more rotations (depending on function and/or geographic location), developing key technical, change management, and leadership competencies. Each assignment supports a wide range of projects focused on adding real value for the business and driving improvement in critical manufacturing processes. The program includes placements in various facets of manufacturing operations, such as process, project, reliability, and/or quality engineering. Participants will receive Lean Six Sigma training and achieve certification. Throughout the program, Engineering Associates will build relationships with site associates, peers, and leaders, while receiving mentoring from program and business leadership. Upon completion, individuals are placed in a full-time role within Avient that aligns with their personal and professional goals and matches business needs.
