Resource Innovations is seeking an Associate Energy Efficiency Program Manager to join our growing team in the Northeast, preferably located in New York or Massachusetts. As an Associate Program Manager, you will work in a dynamic environment leading and overseeing a cross-functional team of operations staff on commercial/industrial energy efficiency programs.

About the role

The Associate Program Manager will play a highly visible role both internally and externally, responsible for developing short and long-term implementation plans, leading program implementation activities, and developing trusted relationships with clients, industry stakeholders, and program contacts. This position requires excellent planning, budgeting, and people-management skills, and the ability to respond quickly to implementation changes, challenges, and market conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Manages subprojects and tasks including development of work plans to meet goals, aligning staff assignments, and providing performance reports and forecasts both internally and to clients.
  • Organizes and maintains databases for the coordination, collection, analysis, and reporting of data.
  • Identifies, defines, quantifies, tracks, and drives the development of program deliverables on time and on budget.
  • Continuously assesses project progress to goal and develops innovative and creative solutions to new issues and/or market dynamics.
  • Manages client expectations, satisfaction, communications, and resolves and/or escalates client issues.
  • Interfaces with key internal departments such as Engineering, Software, Marketing, and Finance to develop efficiencies to meet program needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field including, but not limited to, business, energy/environment, or engineering; a Master's degree in a related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in energy efficiency or a related field required, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing project plans, scopes, and budgets as well as strategic initiatives.
  • Proficient skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Existing Building Commissioning is a plus.

Pay

The compensation range for the base salary for this position is $90,000–$126,000. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education, and location.
