About the role

CMTA (formerly AMA Group), a Legence Company, is seeking an experienced Electrical Associate to join our dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the design of sustainable, high-performance building systems and complex MEP/FP projects.

Responsibilities

  • Produce complete electrical systems design drawings in accordance with the code
  • Collaborate in solving a variety of complex engineering problems (e.g., conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, difficult coordination requirements)
  • Organize technical and financial proposals for new work
  • Keep senior staff informed of important and relevant service/design decisions to ensure the objectives of the client are achieved
  • Establish a strong relationship with the design team
  • Responding to RFIs and communicating information accurately and in a timely manner

Desired Skills And Experience

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering required; PE highly preferred
  • 5 - 9 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer with 5+ years in the MEP space
  • Expert knowledge of building codes and standards, engineering drafting standards, electrical engineering standards, and other trades
  • Expert understanding of the construction process and interpretation of construction drawings
  • Advanced technical knowledge of electrical systems; ability to investigate, identify, and provide solutions to technical problems
  • Experience in the preparation of technical reports for delivery to a client audience
  • Autocad and Revit proficiency

Pay

Salary Range: $115,000 - $130,000. This role is also eligible for an annual performance-based bonus. Bonus eligibility and payout are determined by role, individual performance, and company performance, and are not guaranteed.
