Duties And Accountabilities
- Develop, draft, and negotiate credit facilities, syndicated loan agreements, credit insurance deals, equipment lease agreements, security documentation, sale and purchase agreements and maintenance agreements.
- Participate in the creation of new structured finance products, collaborating closely with business and bank finance and capital markets teams.
- Guide the execution of transactions, including the preparation of documents, negotiation, and closing procedures.
- Work with investment, risk, and compliance teams to ensure financial products comply with commercial and regulatory standards.
- Work with technical/maintenance teams to ensure documentation captures the commercial realities of the operation of the relevant equipment.
- Keep abreast of market and legal changes affecting credit products, structured finance arrangements, and equipment leasing.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of aircraft finance and leasing experience
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree (LLM or foreign equivalent) from an accredited law school
- Admitted to the Florida Bar (or the ability to become admitted) and in good standing
- Strong academic record and intellectual curiosity, creative thinker
- Commercial and business awareness
- Outstanding communication skills
- Strong time-management skills, ability to stay calm under pressure when juggling multiple projects
