Asset and Corporate Finance Associate
About the role
The ideal candidate will have two to six years of sophisticated law firm experience with private equity, private credit, commercial lending, and mezzanine finance transactions. The candidate should have experience representing both lenders and borrowers in connection with secured and unsecured syndicated credit facilities, asset-based loans, and acquisition financings. Experience with loan workouts and restructurings is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with experienced lawyers to provide active mentoring and opportunities to assume increasing levels of responsibility and client contact.
- Work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating the ability to handle complex legal matters.
- Represent both lenders and borrowers in connection with secured and unsecured syndicated credit facilities, asset-based loans, and acquisition financings.
- Participate in loan workouts and restructurings as needed.
