The Disputes and Investigations practice is one of the most respected in the industry, delivering a wide array of solutions to contentious situations by drawing on deep skills, diverse disciplines, and experiences. We are recognized by Global Arbitration Review as a leading firm of independent experts for arbitration and considered a top three firm by Who’s Who Legal. Our clients include leading insurance companies, major banks, law firms, private equity firms, and well-known corporations.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and sort through large, sometimes unorganized and incomplete, data sets.
• Assist with compiling, analyzing, and documenting information in investigations, disputes, or accounting-related matters.
• Contribute to the creation of complex financial models and analyses.
• Document assumptions, methodologies, and sources of information used for analyses.
• Assist with drafting expert reports and other client deliverables using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other applications.
• Perform quality control reviews of expert reports and other client deliverables.
• Research technical and industry-specific issues.
• Develop and suggest solutions to complex problems by thinking “outside the box.”
• Balance multiple client projects and responsibilities.
• Communicate proactively and present effectively to all levels of the engagement team.
• Build consultative relationships with clients to understand their industry, the case, and key issues from the big picture to the smallest details.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Working towards or completion of CPA, CFE, or CFF certifications.
• 1-2 years of experience in audit or a forensic and disputes consulting practice.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective interpersonal skills; ability to work under pressure and seek guidance when needed.
• Ability and willingness to maintain a flexible work schedule to meet client needs.
• Ability to work in office.

Pay

The salary range is $65,000 - $90,000 annually, dependent on education, experience, skills, and geography.
