About the Role
The Associate Director, Treasury Planning and Reporting is a key position in the Treasury organization, reporting to the Director, Assistant Treasurer. This role plays a critical part in both tactical and strategic leadership for actuals reporting, planning, cash flow forecasting, and strategic analysis. It involves high-level exposure, including monthly presentations to the Vice President, Corporate Treasurer, and direct presentations to the CFO. The position serves as the primary Treasury contact for CFP&A and other functions and includes management of one direct report.
Responsibilities
- Develop medium-term and long-term cash flow and net interest expense forecasts.
- Plan and report actuals, including the net interest expense impact of large executed L&A deals.
- Present Plan, LBEs, and LRP Packages to the Treasurer and CFO.
- Analyze and report monthly actual results.
- Set annual Prelim and Final FX Plan rates for the corporation.
- Analyze Corporate exchange variances vs. Plan and other benchmarks.
- Complete the quarterly Treasury Earnings package to help senior management understand Treasury impacts related to earnings calls.
- Oversee FDP completion of quarterly 10-Q / 10-K packages, highlighting cash, debt, and hedging impacts in financial statements.
- Analyze AbbVie’s exposure to market interest rate fluctuations.
- Oversee various month-end and quarter-end reporting requirements and certifications related to cash and debt activities.
- Serve as the owner of debt administration in SAP Treasury Management.
- Manage one direct report.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in progressive finance or accounting roles.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to Corporate Officers.
- Familiarity with SAP, HFM, and BPC is preferred.
- Strong Excel and modeling skills.
